Welcome
Division Zero Architecture Inc. is a British Columbia-based architectural practice committed to the pursuit of excellence in the design of the built environment. Experience includes planning, design, working drawing production, tendering and construction review in a variety of domains including industrial, institutional and luxury residential work.
Division Zero has developed a design paradigm involving particular approaches to the various steps involved in design, from the very unstructured requirements of the conceptual, through the rigorous technical requirements of establishing an implementation model, to the ultimate practical needs of the realization process. We express the guiding schema as

Concept - Process - Form

Each component of this triad of project phases, from the smallest designs to the most complex, has its own needs and characteristics - together they form the basis for a successful design project.
This links at the left lead to a catalogue of recent work, including recent work on a luxury residential project, the The Kingswood, an important civic marker in the Chinatown Millennium Gate, a competition entry for the Vancouver AIDS Memorial Competition, a Mechanical Design Laboratory for McGill University, involvement in a large Regional Headquarters, Parts Distribution Warehouse and Training Centre for Honda Canada, the Ouzeri St-Denis, a modest Restaurant/Cafe, and our contribution to a Community Health Service Centre.  An extended Project List is also accessible.
